Our History

Dance Theatre Network was originally established in 1979 as the Jenny Kay School of Dance, run out of a community hall in Kingsgrove. In the early days, the school was only run on Saturday mornings but as time went on, the school grew to the point where classes were running 6 days a week.

 

After 24 years, it was clear that the hall was just not big enough and so in 2003 the school moved to a custom built studio complex in Roselands. With the change of venue, came a change of name and so "Dance Theatre Network" was born.
